The Artistry of Clarence Lau
Every acre of Eternal Resorts is designed for the effortless flow of positive energy, good fortune and harmony evermore. Even our physical locations are chosen for their relation to the earthly landscape—open, airy spaces that are alive with Chi and surrounded by water, mountains and natural construction of the highest order. It becomes difficult to tell where Mother Nature leaves off and the work of world-renowned Feng Shui master Clarence Lau begins.
Meet the Master
Clarence Lau was born and raised in Hong Kong. He attended the University of Hawaii where he earned a degree in mathematics before returning home to study the ancient art of Feng Shui. Master Lau’s training was traditional—under the tutelage of the famous Master Yeung Lin—and today he brings more than a quarter century of Feng Shui experience to a diverse and distinguished clientele. Since immigrating to the U.S. in the 1990s, he has offered expert consultations to some of the globes most prominent names.
From five-star restaurants and political residences to architecturally inspired homes and businesses of all kinds, Master Lau has built his client list in the thousands. Among his most notable achievements is Washington Place, the site of Queen Liliuokalani’s arrest during the overthrow of the Hawaiian Kingdom.
Interestingly, burial sites were among the first locations to employ Feng Shui thousands of years ago, and now Master Lau continues this spatial and orientation-focused ritual. Through his thoughtful work with cemeteries and families, Master Lau proves how the Feng Shui principles of prosperity, health and wellbeing are just as important in a final resting place as they are in the places we live.
